I had seen that tiny church set far into the distance from the highway, but we had never stopped until last week when we went into Yuma. It seats 12 people, was built by a gentleman in honor of his wife, and its entire service schedule consists of an Easter Sunrise Service.
Any of you tired from Sunday services? Might consider pastoring (or being a member of) this little gem–a year to plan a wonderful sermon, rehearse the choir, maintain the building, contact the previous Sunday’s visitors, schedule routine maintenance, promote attendance, and train staff. Let me know if you’re interested. I’ll post a note in the visitors book the next time I go by.

I think Brother Buxton could preach a great Easter sunrise service there. He’d probably pack the place out! 🙂
