America The World video

Death by Texting

I want to warn you that the video shown here is extremely graphic–extremely graphic. If you have the stomach for it, I wish you would watch it, and show it to other drivers in your household–especially those young ones who lack the wisdom that comes (sometimes) with age. I plead with  you to watch this if you text while driving. Texting while driving is incredibly unwise, bordering on lunacy in my opinion. Yet, many people do so. Watch this video and consider your driving habits, even your punching in numbers in a cell phone as you sit behind the wheel of your car. Are we so desperately busy that we must do these things as we drive down the highways or maneuver through city streets. I think not.

By Shirley Buxton

Still full of life and ready to be on the move, Shirley at 84 years old feels blessed to have lots of energy and to be full of optimism. She was married to Jerry for 63 years, and grieves yet at his death in August of 2019. They have 4 children, 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren...all beautiful and highly intelligent--of course. :)

Sis Buxton, your son did an amazing job Sunday night at our church! He didn’t even know he was preaching till right before-hand and without notes, God spoke through him in a mighty way! =)

Which son? Where? The rascals, they don’t always report in to their mom.

I guess the video was taken off. Would have liked to see it! Hope all is well there in Lake Havasu. Keep cool.

Hi Yvette. Sorry about the video. Maybe later they will restore it…not sure, of course. We’re fine here; hope all is well with you and yours.

Good warning! Be textLESS when driving!

This past Sunday p.m. (9-6-09), we went to the Rock Church’s (in Sacramento) p.m. service and were privileged to hear Bro. Joel Buxton (who had come w/his wife Aisha and children). He spoke on “When The RebornE Church Comes Out Of Hiding.” He took his text from Mark 2:1–4 (with special emphasis on the word “borne” in vs. 3). It was good. You & Bro. Buxton’d have been proud. The Lord bless!

Hi, Tommy. Yes, we’re thankful for our children and grandchildren. God has been so very good to us.
