In our recent travels to the Bay Area of California, six of us ate delicious meals in a restaurant on Fisherman’s Wharf in Monterey. I asked the very friendly waitress to snap a picture of us. She did: took three to be sure they were good shots.
Bless her heart: (That’s why they say in the south when they want to criticize somebody, but stay sweet at the same time. 🙂 )

That looks like a very memorable occasion. The waitress spoiled the photo. Well, you could have taken the photos yourself, perhaps in two turns.

It is for this reason that I love digital. I will say though you lose the anticipation of waiting at the developing counter with excitement. I always enjoyed the thrill of tearing open the envelop to see what I had captured.
