Hello Vrocks! I’m so proud of you! Great job! College is awesome experience and the education you’ll receive will mean more to you than what you realize now. I’m sure you have heard this before, but it’s worth saying again – guard your heart. (This if you are going to a secular school!) They WILL teach humanism, and evolution, sometimes is subtle ways, sometimes they’ll shove it down your throat. I have good friends who have walked away from God because they got caught up in it all. Friends I would have NEVER guessed to walk away from God. Guard your heart. Guard your mind. There is no need to argue with your professors over it, they will know your love for God with the respect you show to them and the process. I’ve known a lot of people who have tried to “win” their professors and classmates by arguing doctrine, you WILL make a difference, and God will open doors if you let Him, but it won’t be by arguing, even if you are right. Be respectful, be a good student, SHOW UP FOR CLASS, and your professors will start respecting you. I still pray over every exam. I could go and on about the things that helped me, but I don’t want to bore ya! But if there was one piece of advice that I could share it is this – be a good student. You will be surprised how many students just don’t show up for class or don’t do their homework once they get settled in. Their GPA drops, and it effects the rest of their college career. And when you are a good student, you stand out among the crowd. And you will earn the respect of your teachers and your classmates. And then watch how God will begin to open doors. I have unbelievable stories that I could share that I would have never guessed happening in a secular school! You are going to do great!! Know what you want, and stick to it. Don’t quit until you’re done!

Thank you very much, Rochelle.

Funny! I have seen this before, but forgot! It made me giggle just as much the second time too! πŸ™‚

Rochelle, meet Vrocks, who is pictured just above here. She is a sweet girl from San Diego, who is just beginning her college education. Have any words for her?

That was funny as well as cute. πŸ™‚

I’m so glad its the weekend…LOL
I feel so tired. Today I just had one class, Spanish. It was actually fun. We kept busy and time passed pretty fast. I have H.W. but it can wait until tomorrow. I need a break.

Hope you have a great, restful weekend. I know you’ll have your HW done at your next class time. Spanish is a great course to take for people who live in California and other states in the west especially.

I tried clicking on the link, but it wouldn’t work for me. I feel deprived. 😦

You ARE deprived. It’s still working fine from my screen. Try pasting this in your browser or try just clicking here:

Shirley, I copied this and sent it via e-mail to a few friend. One woman just e-mailed that she was “afraid to do it.” LOL

Maybe she was afraid it had a virus in it. That can be a real problem, sometimes…or is she afraid of dogs? πŸ™‚

My husband always complains that my computer screens are dirty – maybe I should get a dog to take care of the matter. On second thought, I’ll pass.

Karen, I can’t seem to keep my screen clean either–probably because I wag it around everywhere. I’m also afraid to press it on it too much when I’m wiping it down–afraid I’ll break the precious little thing.

O how cute is that.

Beka, thanks for stopping by. Hope you’re here often, and you’ll see that sometimes we have decent conversations–not just cute pictures.

I love it. And I don’t even like dogs. πŸ™‚

Helen, have I told you that in our park here are people who push their dogs around in strollers? They’re not baby strollers, they are special strollers made for pets. The first time I ever saw one of these was when we were traveling, and had stopped for the night in Flagstaff, AZ. As I walked around the park, I passed this elderly lady pushing one of these strollers. Sitting arrogantly in the carriage was a pussy cat.
