The Deserving Couple

Wed Jan 9, 11:10 AM ET WARSAW (Reuters) – A Polish man got the shock of his life when he visited a brothel and spotted his wife among the establishment’s employees. Polish tabloid Super Express said the woman had been making some extra money on the side while telling her husband she worked at a store in a nearby town.

Whoops! Well, one thing is sure: they deserve each other.

“I was dum(b)founded. I thought I was dreaming,” the husband told the newspaper Wednesday.

The couple, married for 14 years, are now divorcing, the newspaper reported.

41 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

However, it doesn’t appear either one of them were living according to God’s Word.

That story is sickening. No wonder our children find it difficult to live righteously, for their parents have modeled obscenity and total disregard for morality. Many have no clue as to the meaning of the word righteous and holy.

I don’t want to be cynical, nor paint with too broad a brush our society, but I fear I may be treading close to truth.

  3. Well gee… I wonder WHY they are divorcing.

That reminds me of a story I once heard about a guy who was talking with girls online (behind his wife’s back) and a girl who was looking for a boyfriend, talking to guys online. They lied to their families about their whereabouts, and decided to meet in Vegas. They never talked on the phone or exchanged pics, they just wanted to meet.

She was in the hotel room and he came in, but told her to close her eyes first… she thought she recognized the voice… and she was horrified (and HE was horrified)… it was her own Dad.

    Yeah. It’s just gross.
