Identification of Sprouting Wheat Solves Mystery

A Candle for the Holidays, originally uploaded by Shirley Buxton.

I’ve solved the mystery of the sprouting Pro Flowers floral arrangement. Artfully placed in our beautiful floral arrangement are what appears to be tiny wheat stalks and heads.

In my finest Sherlock manner, I pulled from the greenery a wheat head along with its tender green crop. Indeed, I have sprouting wheat (or something that looks like it) in my floral arrangement!

Cheers!

By Shirley Buxton

Still full of life and ready to be on the move, Shirley at 84 years old feels blessed to have lots of energy and to be full of optimism. She was married to Jerry for 63 years, and grieves yet at his death in August of 2019. They have 4 children, 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren...all beautiful and highly intelligent--of course. :)
