You Did What?

You may recognize this gentleman here as being Craig Venter, who a few days ago, told of his having created the first new life form on earth and of his being poised to made the official announcement.

I was going to write extensively about this today, but when I found that Renaissance Guy had done so yesterday, I decided to suggest you read at his place. He has an excellent site and you also might find his material and link to Alan Keyes interesting. Zip over and talk about the subject there…or here if you’d rather.

My devotional blog is here.

By Shirley Buxton

Still full of life and ready to be on the move, Shirley at 83 years old feels blessed to have lots of energy and to be full of optimism. She was married to Jerry for 63 years, and grieves yet at his death in August of 2019. They have 4 children, 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren...all beautiful and highly intelligent--of course. :)

R Guy-

The core issue of course, is that somewhere (or was there even place, then?), at some point in “time” (or was there even time, then?) there was nothing. Someone (God) then created. Only from that original form has all else come.

What stands out in my mind, is the effort it takes to “build” a chromosome. But we are supposed to believe that the original ones just assembled themselves by chance. We are also supposed to believe that all the variations in genetic material came about by more chance recombining, deletion, and addition of information.
