Thank You

The Tomb At Dusk

Picture courtesy of the Department of Defense

To all persons who have given their lives so that I may live in peace and comfort in America, the land of the free, I say thanks.

To each troop, who at this moment, bravely serve around the world so that my sons and my daughter and my grandchildren and my great-grandchildren remain safe, I say thanks.

God bless America, land that I love.

By Shirley Buxton

Still full of life and ready to be on the move, Shirley at 81 years old feels blessed to have lots of energy and to be full of optimism. She was married to Jerry for 64 years, and grieves yet at his death in August of 2019. They have 4 children, 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren...all beautiful and highly intelligent--of course. :)

Thank God there are still people who serve our Nation faithfully to protect and preserve our rights. They even protect the rights of those who are against them and what they are doing to keep the USA safe.

I come from a long line of Military service. Great-grandpas, Grandpas, Daddy’s and husband as well as uncles and Brother-in-Law. So I know firsthand what our Military members and thier families face on a daily basis. There are no words to express our gratitude.

I join you Sister Buxton in saying “Thank You all those who are serving and have served and God Bless America, Land that I LOVE!!!”
