Because of Balderdash

DSC_0361, originally uploaded by Shirley Buxton.

I love to play games, and in recent years I was introduced to the game of Balderdash, and I believe it is the most uproarious game I have ever played. The object of the game is to discern the meaning of obscure words that are read, to devise your own meaning and to try to get the other players to select your definition as the correct one. Tena, Shawnna’s sister, roars here as we voice how aghast we are at the meanings she has written. On three occasions, we have played this game at our house. Once Ken and Nancy heard us laughing clear across the street.

The game belongs to Andrew and Shawnna, I don’t have one, but am notifying Santa at this moment that I surely would like to have my own to put in our game room.

Still full of life and ready to be on the move, Shirley at 81 years old feels blessed to have lots of energy and to be full of optimism. She was married to Jerry for 64 years, and grieves yet at his death in August of 2019. They have 4 children, 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren...all beautiful and highly intelligent--of course. :)

Hello, Mike.

Welcome to my site, and congratulations on your beautiful wedding. I checked out the pictures on your site.

I also have Absolute Balderdash, but think I may prefer the older version which one of my children has.

Hope you visit here often.

Joy!

Woohoo, its my favourite all time game. My wife and I decided to get ABSOLUTE BALDERDASH with some wedding present money. Its way better than the normal one…. Does anyone know where there’s any professional championships or tornaments around Australia? Much appreciated!

Balderdash if a great hit around here. Tommyjoe, remember Bro Connell only won because it was Pastor appreciation month. But I am ready to play again.
