Dynamite Grilled Shrimp

Dynamite Grilled Shrimp, originally uploaded by Shirley Buxton.

Remember my telling you of the hospitality and the fabulous meal served to Jerry and me by the Connells. I now have pictures to prove it. Eat your heart out!

By Shirley Buxton

Still full of life and ready to be on the move, Shirley at 81 years old feels blessed to have lots of energy and to be full of optimism. She was married to Jerry for 64 years, and grieves yet at his death in August of 2019. They have 4 children, 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren...all beautiful and highly intelligent--of course. :)

Helen, I’m with you. Every time I look at that picture I want shrimp in my mouth.

Tommyjoe, yes, you’re a witness that I am not exaggerating about that meal. Both Jerry and I were delighted to meet you. Thank you for continuing to pray for us.

Sister Buxton!! . . . And to think I was there and got to be partaker with “you all” in that glorious meal! It was a momentous time for me–as I got to meet you & Bro. Buxton for the 1st time and got to learn of his story and your writings. I’m inspired to this day! I’ve been thinking of you both and am keeping you in my prayers.

Thank you for your entry on my “very elementary” blog. I’m a beginner, and I’ve got a bit to learn. For some reason on my blog, all the comments are being put on my first blog entry. If you know how that can be fixed, I’d appreciate your input. I like the way your blog is designed! God Bless! Say hi to Bro. Buxton.

We have a shrimp recipe that makes shrimp that look just like that. They are marinated in olive oil, lemon slices and spices. I want them tonight, and it’s too late, and it’s all your fault, Shirley! 🙂
