Make Diesel in Your Backyard

We have a friend not too far from us who is doing this, and since we have a 40 feet long motor home that uses diesel, and it gets around 8 miles to the gallon, Jerry is quite interested. Lots of people get their used oil from McDonald’s.

“Only thing,” I heard Jerry say to someone, “we’d probably have dogs following us and yipping at our trail of tasty McDonald smell.”

As the prices of petrol continues to spiral with no signs of going down, a growing number of Americans are setting up mini-refineries back home to transform waste cooking oil into a cleaner and much cheaper biodiesel fuel.

Still full of life and ready to be on the move, Shirley at 81 years old feels blessed to have lots of energy and to be full of optimism. She was married to Jerry for 64 years, and grieves yet at his death in August of 2019. They have 4 children, 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren...all beautiful and highly intelligent--of course. :)

I think I know the person of whom you are referring, and it smells like french fries when they drive in the parking lot
